It’s MAY.

A quick little post to say welcome to May!

Mood Board Inspo:

I saw a post on Sephora’s IG today that was all lilac themed and fell IN LOVE. I’m going to need that Dior blush (like I need more blush). But the lilac vibes definitely inspired me. May is going to be all about light, vibrant colors, sunshine, and everything in bloom.

I am also loving the all the new face palettes, and bronzers coming out that are giving us a little glow and dewy skin. I’m excited to get a little color and buy some bronzing drops! I have a couple on my Sephora wish list I am debating between, including Drunk Elephant, Glow Recipe and Isle of Paradise.

This is also definitely the season for light and vibrant eyes, and glossy nude or light pink lips. I just got the Pretty in Paradise eye and cheek palette from Violet Voss and am pretty impressed with it. The tones are perfect for summer with some bronze tones and super pretty turquoise. I plan on wearing it all month and into summer. Some other hot products I am eyeing are the new lip liners from Kosas and a soft purple lip gloss from either Fenty or Dior.

Of course, May is also the start of wedding season. And kicking that off with my own wedding (OMG). Our wedding screams spring with a lot of pinks and oranges. I’m so excited to wear my new Selkie dress for the rehearsal; which is giving very ethereal, spring vibes.

We’re going to France for our honeymoon. I have never been and I’m so ecstatic to finally go, especially to Paris! One of our signature cocktails for the wedding is a French 75, which is so fitting for the wedding and the perfect spring into summer cocktail.
