Happy last full week of July! I feel like the month flew by! Obviously last Tuesday and Wednesday were Amazon Prime days. I wanted to post beforehand with some beauty picks but time got away from me. I did manage to score some great purchases and I also have a ton of stuff saved for later. I know I have mentioned the “Breaking Beauty” podcast before, but they did a great recap of Prime Day recs that I recommend looking at! This week I wanted to share a little recap of what I bought and some other hot ticket items I might buy in the future. There were quite a few things I definitely didn’t need at the moment that I decided to hold off on for now.

My Purchases:

Full disclosure: this is also my haul of Ipsy products I just got. It all came at once!

There were so many great beauty deals during Prime Days. I didn’t get any big ticket items but I used the opportunity to try some new products! I have linked everything in the product name.

  • Sol de Janeiro Brazilian Bum Bum Cream: This product wasn’t hugely discounted but it was still a good deal considering how popular this product is. Did you know Sol de Janeiro is the most popular skincare brand at Sephora? I have wanted to try the Bum Bum Cream for a while and I was so excited to try it. First of all, it smells amazing! It leaves my skin feeling super soft and I love how quickly it absorbs in my skin. I can’t wait to see how this lotion firms and tightens everything.
  • BK Beauty Brushes – Angie Hot & Flashy A506 Concealer – Viral “Kitten Paw” Face Brush: This brush is normally $24 and I got it for $13. I had a “Kitten Paw” brush that I don’t like so I was looking forward to trying this viral concealer brush. It is amazing. It blends much better than my other one and it is super soft. I definitely plan on buying more BK brushes.
  • Biodance Bio-Collagen Real Deep Mask, Hydrating Overnight Hydrogel Mask: Oh my god this face mask. Don’t ask just buy it. It’s normally $19 for 4 masks so they’re not that expensive to begin with. For Prime they were on sales for $12. I actually heard about these masks because my husband saw a dermatologist test them out on Instgram. They instantly hydrate and take years off your skin by improving its elasticity. I usually wear them overnight once a week but you can also keep them on for 3-4 hours if you don’t like sleeping with a face mask. They help to minimize your pores and you wake up with the most radiant skin ever.
  • Laneige Lip Glowy Balm in Berry: I love all Laneige products. The lip masks were also on sale too! This was on sale for $13 from $19 and only certain flavors were on sale. It’s a great lip balm/gloss and it keeps my lips feeling super hydrated. Hard product to say no to when discounted!
  • E.L.F. Skin Bronzing Drops: This was a new buy that I hadn’t gotten to try yet. This product works. My face is instantly bronzed and it looks so natural. I can’t believe I’m saying this but I think I like it more the Saie’s Glowy Super Gel. I will say, I have been impressed with E.L.F.’s products lately. They are constantly improving their line. For $12 how can you say no to a product? You can also mix them in with your moisturizer for a tinted moisturizer look. I have a pic of myself wearing it below with the Laneige Lip Balm.
  • Thayers Alcohol-Free, Hydrating Rose Petal Witch Hazel Facial Toner: The Holy Grail of toners. This product was discounted at $7.99 but it normally is only $11. I have never felt it necessary to spend a million bucks on a toner when this one does the job just fine.

On My Wish List:

Believe me when I say there are a ton of products I could have bought but restrained myself not to. I wanted to share a couple incase they spark some ideas for you.

  • Urban Decay had some great Prime Day deals. Most notably their Naked Eye Shadow Palettes (I have the Mini Naked3 and it’s one of my favorites) and their 24/7 Glide-On Waterproof Eyeliner Pencil.
  • I have so many products from Anastasia Beverly Hills and a couple of my favs were on sale. I wasn’t out of anything so I did not purchase them but their DIPBROW Pomade and Loose Setting Powder are a couple of my go-to products.
  • Lastly, we all know how much I love French skincare. A couple of awesome brands had Prime Day sales including Vichy, La Roche-Posay and Bioderma. I almost bought Bioderma’s Sensibio Micellar Cleansing Oil but I have a good face cleanser right now. It is next on my list after I’m out of what I’m currently using!

That’s my Prime Day round-up! What were some of your favorite purchases? P.S. It looked like some products were still on sale as I wrote this so it might not be too late to do some shopping!
